Description: 1982-83 Roland Melanson Game Worn Sandow SK Sweater. Rollie won three Stanley Cups with the Isles and was a durable goalie splitting time with Billy Smith on those Cup Teams….Second Team NHL All Star in 82/83 where he shared the Jennings Trophy with Smith and was runner up for the Vezina Trophy. The game wear on this mammoth sized goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer, inner pilling, trauma and subsequent team-sewn repair work to the crest and a team-sewn repair on the right sleeve. Jersey is photo matched as well and can provide photo to those interested. Rollie was spectacular while wearing this sweater as he posted a career best 24 Wins with a 2.66 GAA while leading the league with a .909 save percentage. He finished runner-up to Pete Peeters for the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top Goalie, won the William M. Jennings Trophy, was named 2nd Team NHL All Star and helped the Islanders to their 4th consecutive Stanley Cup.
