Description: This jersey shows nice wear with good pilling at the neck and cuffs. There are two good size repairs, one on the body below the S in RANGERS and one of the left arm. The body has been custom shortened by about 1.5" by pinching in and sewing the material just above the top stripe at the waist. The 1994 NHL All-Star patch adorns the right shoulder of the jersey and was only worn on their first set of road jersey, making these jerseys from their Stanley Cup winning season extremely rare. In addition to wining the Cup, Richter was also the MVP of the all star game, which was played at MSG.
The jersey is photo matched to the puck mark on the top white strip on the right sleeve and the two puck marks on the top white stripe on the left sleeve. Additionally, the unique cuts of the sleeve numbers match up the photos, particularly the angle of the bottom of the 3 on the right sleeve.
I traded this jersey many years ago and am thrilled to have it back in my collection!
