Description: This unique jersey was originally a shield style New York Rangers jersey worn by Hardy Astrom in the 1977-78 season. Astrom only played 4 games for the Rangers that season and then moved on the Rockies organization. The jersey shows a very clear outline of the removed Rangers shield crest and of Astrom’s name previously stiched on the back. The jersey was then recycled to the Victoria Cougars, where it was worn by HOF goalie Grant Fuhr in WHL. Fuhr played 43 games that season, compiling a 30-12 record with a 3.14 GAA and a .911 save percentage. The jersey shows very nice wear, with lots of puck marks, several repairs, and some pulls in the durene fabric.
