Description: This jersey was worn by Dan Blackburn in his first NHL start. The jersey shows nice wear, with several puck marks, a long repair on the stripes in the hem, post paint on the back of the sleeve, and great pilling at the cuff of his right sleeve. The jersey has the 9/11 memorial patch on the left shoulder. It is nicely photo matched to the marks above the R in Rangers on the front. This jersey resided in the personal collection of Barry Meisel for a long time.
Dan Blackburn was a promising Rangers prospect who’s career was derailed by a crazy shoulder injury while lifting weights.
